These rare gold post earrings are handcrafted from 14K Gold and Sterling Silver in the traditional overlay medium. Overlay is two sheets of silver soldered together. The bottom layer is oxidized and etched. The top layer is hand cut, filed, and soldered onto the bottom layer. It is then further detailed to remove any rough edges or imperfections. Then it is buffed with steel wool.
The legend of the "Man in the Maze" is intended to help children understand the meaning of life. The maze depicts experiences and choices we make in our journey through life. It illustrates the search for balance - physical, social, mental and spiritual. In the middle of the maze are found a person's dreams and goals. Native American legend says when we reach the center, the sun god is there to greet us, bless us and pass us into the next world. Can I wear my jewelry while hand washing or bathing?
No, never. Stones are porous and will dull and darken with repeated hand washing or bathing while wearing. Only use a silver polish cloth to shine. Message me with any questions on care.
Refunds and Shipment Delays
14 days to return, must be in excellent condition-- no damage. Beyond 14 days is exchange only.No refunds without prior correspondence; if so I will ship the item back. All refunds incur a $5 or 10% restocking fee -- whichever is greater due to opportunity loss and labor costs.
